May 28, 2026, NIH posted four SBIR/STTR Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) - PA-27-100,PA-27-101, PA-27-102,PAR-27-098. There are multiple significant changes as compared to previous NOFOs. NIH has eliminated the Data Management and Sharing Plan requirement for all SBIR/STTR applications, budget waivers per institute are now listed in the solicitations, and instead of four omnibus NOFOs, there are now only two omnibus solicitations (SBIR and STTR) with clinical trials optional.Read onfor a complete breakdown of changes.

SBA Launches $1 Million Patriot Pitch Competition to
Showcase America's Entrepreneurs
In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, the SBA is hosting a nationwide pitch competition that will bring together entrepreneurs from across the country who are building and scaling businesses within their communities. Selected businesses will be invited to participate in a live pitch competition in Washington, DC, which will culminate in a $1 million prize pool to celebrate the innovation and ambition that has driven American ingenuity for the past 250 years.
