NASA Solicitation subtopics were released December 2!
NASA personnel cannot discuss the SBIR/STTR Solicitations subtopics with firms, except for during the upcoming, publicly available Ask Me Anything sessions.
NASA SBIR is hosting a series of Ask Me Anythings (AMAs) between December 9-13. This is your only opportunity to connect directly with NASA stakeholders, ask questions, and explore how your solutions can help solve for specific topic areas.
Potential NASA applicants should NOT miss these sessions.
The series will cover the different themes with Subject Matter Experts and give you a chance to ask technical questions. Don’t miss out on valuable insights to see if your ideas align with NASA priorities!

NHLBI Pre-Application Webinars
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) will hold a pre-application technical assistance webinar regarding applications for the following RFAs:
RFA-HL-26-014: NHLBI SBIR Phase IIB Bridge Awards to Accelerate the Commercialization of Technologies for Heart, Lung, Blood, and Sleep Disorders and Diseases (R44 Clinical Trial Optional)
RFA-HL-26-015: NHLBI SBIR Phase IIB Small Market Awards to Accelerate the Commercialization of Technologies for Heart, Lung, Blood, and Sleep Disorders and Diseases (R44 Clinical Trial Optional)
The purpose of and requirements for both RFAs will be reviewed. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. Program staff from the NHLBI and the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) will be available to provide responses.
The SEED company showcase program matches requesting eligible companies with presentation and attendance slots at select events. These events provide venues for small business leaders to engage with investors, development partners, and corporate collaborators. This program supports over 120 companies each year, not all companies who request participation will be matched to an event.
Matched companies may receive the following benefits:
one-on-one coaching from SEED Entrepreneurs in Residence
at least 1 registration to their matched event
the opportunity to pitch their value proposition to attendees
access to event partnering facilitation systems
space to display or highlight their technology
information about matched companies will be highlighted at seed.nih.gov/showcase.
Eligibility: Companies must have had active NIH SBIR or STTR funding (grant or contract) within the 24 calendar months preceding the relevant request deadline. For companies with multiple awards, only one project will be considered per 6-month cycle.
Submit a request for consideration at any time during the year, however SEED will evaluate the match of companies to specific events only twice per year. The cut-off dates for evaluation of requests are 5 pm EST January 17, 2025 and 5 pm EDT June 6, 2025. More information about the program can be found here.
